It’s not just me, the morning talk shows do segments on it every year, the dreaded family drama that come from getting everyone together. Thanksgiving kicks off the holiday season and brings us a mixed bag of anticipation and excitement, joy, disappointment, infighting and drama. Why? Because many families—and I know this will be shocking for you to read—are dysfunctional.

Nurturing is Key After a Tragedy

Those first few days it was all I could do to get myself to eat. I had no appetite. I spent every morning in bed journaling, and continuing my gatitude practiced for an hour, two hours or three. whatever it took to get myself up and moving. My energy was gone, drive non-existent and I wasn’t quite sure how to engage with the world because I had never experienced this before.

Connecting with Stressed Out College Students

I spent last weekend in St. Paul, Minnesota at the Northern Plains NACA Conference. My first time stepping outside the fraternity marketing to reach out to college students. NACA stands for the National Association of Campus Activities. Interesting concept, at this regional conference just over 800 student delegates and their advisors attended to watch and listen to showcases (15 minute sample) of musicians, bands, comedians, magicians, hypnotists and speakers like myself.

Three Easy Ways to Improve Your Quality of Life

Nutrition is the foundation of your health. Without good healthy nutrition you can’t improve your qualify of life and enjoy great health and boundless energy. So many illnesses and ailments are linked to nutrition but western doctors aren’t trained in nutrition so they prescribe medications and hope the patient gets better. A band-aid at best because it doesn’t address the root of the problem and doesn’t begin the healing process.
