I don’t watch the news any more. I don’t want the negativity in my house or in my head. But the internet still does a great job of trying to suck us in with all the headlines they put up. I find it astounding how much negativity rules the airwaves. And how much judgment and trash talking is digested on a daily basis.
Heart to Heart Connection
How often do you really connect with somebody or something? When you make a solid connection you know it and it feels good all over. Now let me clarify that I’m not talking about a romantic connection, although it is full of warm fuzzies too. But what I’m referring to is making a connection that is so deep because you are totally in that moment–tuned in, fully present and absorbed.

When is the last time you stopped to think…about what’s going on inside your head? So many people spend day after day just running on auto-pilot and not really tuning in to what goes on inside. It’s easy to get caught up in the “To Do” list, doing homework, taking care of the kids, your spouse, meeting work demands, playing taxi and if you get a spare moment hanging out with your friends.
Finding Your Inner Voice
Life is a series of adjustments. Learning new lessons, taking on new experiences. It’s all about how you handle the situations that come your way that determine the outcomes, level of happiness and strength of your voice. So let’s consider things from the animal side of the world…one of my favorite ways to observe life!
