Do you keep it real?

January 17, 2013

From a young age we learn that it’s okay to “shape” the truth at times. Some parents even tell us that it’s okay to tell white lies (a harmless or trivial lie, esp. one told to avoid hurting someone’s feelings.)

Something I heard early in my sales career that proved to be true on many occasions is, “People think it’s okay lie to a sales person and still get to heaven.”

Insomnia is something that over 50% of adult Americans are dealing with. Can’t get to sleep, can’t stay asleep. The most productive time of day starts at 5pm and you’re a night owl.

American Psychological Association’s annual Stress in America Poll reports that 52% of Americans suffer from sleeplessness and 53% of Adults report feeling fatigued. Combine that with the fact that over 90% of the complaints in the doctor’s office are stress related and it’s easy to see why.
