What are you doing for NEDAW?

When I first realized I might be bulimic, I read about it in a magazine. I had never heard about bulimia before, but everything described in that article was exactly what I did except one thing, I didn’t throw up. But I was diagnosed with bulimia—a non-purging bulimic. I was one of many who used other methods such as diet and excessive exercise, laxatives and more to control the weight gain from inhaling a horrific amount of food at one time.

Why am I blogging about the cut on my finger? I found it interesting that after I took the bandaid off and got into week number two where it didn’t hurt so much (except when I smacked it) that without even thinking about it I was still holding it out of the way.

Jennifer Love Hewitt Feeds the Eating Disorder and Body Image Frenzy

Last year Jennifer Love Hewitt was a hero. She stood up to the media when they published a picture of her bikini clad body and proclaimed she was “Jennifer Love Chewitt”. At a size two she was hardly fat.
