Have you been watching…the Olympics?
You can see the nerves, confidence and determination as they execute what most of them have spent the last five years training for: Olympic Level Success.
Have you been observing how much reaching their goal to be at the Olympics means to them? And how their families, coaches and everyone “back home” cheering them on adds power to their purpose?
Have you listened to the athletes after they win a gold, silver or bronze medal? Their words are important…
Time after time these elite athletes give credit to two things:
1 – Visualization works!
2 – I just believed in myself…I believed I could do it.
They also thank everyone “who believed in me” back home. Those who sent the energy of support, belief and were committed to their success.
These three basic keys that I share often are on display again at the Olympics. You don’t have to be an elite athlete to use them. These are proven techniques…gifts of the mind and how powerful it is.
3 Keys to Create Success on Your Olympic Level Goals
Once you have clearly defined what it is you want.
1 – Visualize your goal or desire daily
Experience it happening right now (like it already has).
How do you feel? What are you saying? How does it change your life?
Example:
The Olympic gymnasts visualize their routine over and over.
Then seeing their score posted and feel the excitement!
And feel the emotions of standing on the podium with their gold medal.
2 – Create the Belief in reaching your goal
This one can be harder for many people because they don’t know how to release the old beliefs of failure, or not being good enough.
What if you believed you deserved the success you want?
What if you allow yourself to enjoy having the one thing you really want?
This is why elite athletes (and highly successful people) have coaches (like me) to help them with their blind spots, getting unstuck and create an understanding for how to shift beliefs. Something I’ve studied and applied for many, many years.
3 – Connect with your Cheer Squad
Who is going to have your back “no matter what,” as you go after your big Olympic-sized goal?
A support system is critical for the days when you feel “you can’t.”
Highly successful athletes have a team of people committed to their success (skills coach, mindset coach, nutrition coach to name a few) in addition to their families and everyone in their community who stay up until the wee hours of the morning to watch their competition LIVE.
Who will do that for you? You need a support structure.
And all of this power is right there, accessible to you.
Are you ready to reach the next level of success in your personal or professional life?
