Last week was an incredible week.
I manifested a long-held goal.
A wonderful trip to Santa Barbara, full of synergy, synchronicity and special moments.
What have you wanted to do, have or experience for a long time?
I suspect there is something you’ve always wanted to do, or a place you want to visit, or an experience you’d like to enjoy.
Last week, I had one of those big moments, really big moments.
First, it was in one of my favorite places, Santa Barbara, and the weather was wonderful.
It was especially nice after nearly two feet of snow covered my deck three days before I left.
After arriving on Tuesday, I had time to walk the beach and soak in the vibe of Santa Barbara.
I even found a zucchini pasta with avocado sauce for dinner, a yummy vegan meal.
I do miss that part of living in Cali.
On Wednesday, I headed to the home of Jack Canfield (co-author of the Chicken Soup® for the Soul books, and author of The Success Principles™) for my interview with him.
I had a makeup artist which was a real treat, and she kept me looking natural.
Jack and I had a very nice conversational interview.
There I was sitting across from a person I’ve considered my mentor for 28-years.
I stayed in the moment, was fully present and enjoyed it.
This will be published on Jack’s Talking About Success Channel.
Of course I’ll share the interview once it is published.
Caleb handled all the details and prep before my interview.
These moments, are the ones that remind me to never, ever give up.
Anything you want to do, have or be, IS possible.

And Jack Canfield endorsed it for me. Even though I was told, he’s not doing endorsements now.
Hey – you have to ask to get a Yes.
It’s been 17 years since he endorsed my first book. A nice full-circle moment.
Two short endorsements for Leading a Culture that Thrives
“Finally—a leadership book that speaks to both the head and the heart of culture change! Lori gets it: Today’s workplace isn’t just disconnected, it’s hungry for authentic leadership that truly makes a difference. This book isn’t just a good read—it’s your new playbook for success.”
– Victoria Quintana, Co-Founder, Istonish, Inc.
“Good illustrations, examples, and real-life experience. Lori writes in an approachable style, making it comfortable to rethink how you do things. Long overdue to address the disconnection we find in Corporate America after COVID. We need more genuine leaders who can look past the rhetoric and exude authenticity. The book is action-oriented with a lot of helpful how-to advice, not just academic head knowledge.”– Ric Rothschild, Director, Customer Partner, Kyndryl
