As the New Year approaches you have an amazing opportunity to slow down (worth your while) and reflect on 2016. Not all the crap that your internet home page puts out there filled with negativity and fear, but what YOU did this year.
If you didn’t achieve everything you wanted to this year, the only way you’ll move forward is to reflect on why you didn’t, and adjust your plans for the next year.
I love New Year’s! It is such an amazing opportunity to take inventory, restock, reassess your priorities, invest in what you need, or make plans to. If you choose to avoid this exercise you are merely skimming through life, operating in a “too busy mode,” or you’re in avoidance at what you might see and feel if you slow down.
I’m incredibly blessed to be in the “Miracle Business.” People spend time with me, we talk, and miracles occur. I help people identify, create and live their dream life. Together we create their secret weapon, the competitive edge to achieve the next level of success in business, and fulfillment and passion in their life.
This year, I experienced some amazing things: I attended my niece’s wedding in Maui and paid the way for her sister (Maid of Honor) to attend…just two years ago, no money, no way to do this. After twenty years of studying Jack Canfield’s work (Chicken Soup Co-author), I invested a week of vacation to attend a live seminar with him—and became certified in his Success Principles Training, many of which I’ve used for years. I stepped out of my comfort zone many times.
By working with an awesome dog trainer, I successfully completed my plan for “The Emancipation of Niko,” who when I adopted him last year was timid and fearful. Now he is a thriving member of our pack.
In addition, I was invited to provide several goal setting workshops, lead a staff retreat, be keynote speaker at some amazing events, and was thrilled to host a powerful Mastermind Weekend Retreat in Vail that gave attendees time and tools to make life-altering decisions.
One of my coaching clients was promoted this year, after learning to be more patient and waiting for the situation to resolve. One client completed a big home remodeling project. Another client learned to shift their worrisome, fear-based approach to life and traded it in for a less stressful, less reactive approach to drama. Another client took the challenge to move beyond her fear and go after bigger homes to sell.
One client had a truly amazing year, she realized a miracle or two in her life. After starting her own business early this year, she set a goal at Mastermind in June to own a home with a bedroom for each of her four children by December 15th at 3:30 p.m. Being a new business owner presented her with some interesting challenges to make it happen. I was incredibly touched when she invited me to attend her closing on her first home on December 15th at 2 p.m. She met her biggest goal of the year, to own her dream home. Just look at the smile on her face with that house key in hand!
There are NO limits to what you can have, do or be. My hope is that this little infusion and dose of inspiration will encourage you to pursue living your DREAM life.
How would your life be better and what would it look like if you made the commitment to live a MAGNIFICENT life? Post below and tell me, that’s the first step to making it real.
Here’s to an incredible 2017.
