When Things Go Wrong

September 15, 2022

What’s your first response when something doesn’t go the way you thought it would?

Maybe you thought things were going great—and you find out—not so much.

Is your initial response to lash out, to curl up in a ball and hide?
Or do you realize this is an opportunity to grow?

By asking for direct feedback, receiving it (not getting defensive) and owning whatever isn’t working, you’ll go (grow) farther.

You’ll serve better, own your voice, show up stronger and manage your energy so your authenticity leads you.

Think about it, you often grow more when something didn’t work.
Sure…it can be painful!
It’s a light into your soul and perhaps a mirror to show you how you come across to other people.

Even if your intention was pure, and coming straight from the heart…
THAT is the time to listen, learn and adjust your GPS.

I’m in Thomas Edison mode again—THAT didn’t work, NEXT!

Keeping it real today.
