I met a young woman last night at a women’s event. She “just happened” to sit next to me while I was talking with a good friend from my Info Technology days. She started to lean in to listen more intently, and then said, “I’m interested to hear more about this visualization process you mentioned.” My response was, “Well sure, I’d love to share.”
It was a conversation I’ve had quite a number of times, talking with an individual that wants help with manifesting what they want. But they feel they have all the information and show frustration because it just isn’t working. She told me how her father has shared great information with her since she was young, but the look on her face was that of being annoyed on why the Universe wasn’t sending her what she was asking for.
I was looking into a mirror of my younger self. I used to “work so hard” on my affirmations and visualizations. I know at times I attempted to push them into existence. But it just doesn’t work that way. As I shared just a couple of weeks ago, sometimes the answers show up in a completely unexpected, and often much better way than you had envisioned.
Here’s a little food for thought, from Genevieve Behrend:
“Never forget that every physical thing, whether for you or against you, was a sustained thought before it was a thing. Thought as thought, is neither good nor bad; it is Creative Action and always takes physical form. Therefore the thoughts you dwell upon become the things you possess or do not possess.”
Here’s the best part! Everything you want—wants you!
The only reason you don’t have what you want, is because you get caught up asking where it is, wondering why others get what they want, and you don’t aka pity party, or because you lack the belief that you can have it and deserve it. PS You want to know how real it can be? This morning I was looking at the photo of my red Ferrari that I keep in my journal and felt my hair flying in the breeze as I drove it. (Girls just wanna have fun!) When I ran a quick errand, this was around the corner! I got to stop and take close up photos of one of my future rides. This car (same color, make and model) is also displayed where I see it every day. Visual Power!
