How often do you stop to realize how powerful and how magnificent you are? I’m not talking about your brain—I’m speaking of that phenomenal body of yours. Most days if you’re feeling good, it’s something you just take for granted. C’mon admit it.
Often when I write in my gratitude journal I express my thanks for all of the things my body does and all of the moving parts. There’s a helluva lot of maintenance going on all day and all night that you don’t even have to add to your To Do List!
Today, instead of looking at the mirror and curling your upper lip at something you don’t like about your body or the way your clothes fit—join me in expressing gratitude for the incredible body you have.
All of your muscles, bones, ligaments and joints. Your blood cells, central nervous system, digestive system and organs. Your eyes, ears, and nose. You’re incredible brain that is works for you, even though you use very little of it. What can you add to this list?
Here’s a little secret for you…the more you express gratitude for your body, the healthier you’ll be. Like attracts like…don’t complain, give your body compliments all day long today!
