I attended a professional women’s event last week to be a mentor to other working women. The program started with networking exercises to share new ways to start conversations with other people. One of the questions the leader asked was how many women have ever considered not taking a job because they didn’t think they could do it. I was astounded at the number of hands that quickly flew up in the air.
Do you live life on purpose?
Do you create the results you want in your life, or are you just along for the ride and feel like life happens to you? There is a big difference!
Are you connected with what you feel passionate about, or are you merely existing day-to-day wishing you were happier, weighed less, had a job you loved, had a better relationship, or had money to do the things you want to do in life? These are all things you have the ability to control once you have the skillset and know how to implement them.
Powerful Women, Incredible Cause
But the best part about doing an event like this is that it gives me the opportunity to raise money and support a great cause. A portion of the proceeds from our women’s retreat will be donated to SafeHouse Denver to help provide shelter for victims of domestic abuse and their children.

Find Relaxation, Energy & Empowerment
If you are a working woman chances are you don’t have enough time to relax, you’re low on energy and if you aren’t living and working in your passion you feel very little empowerment. Unfortunatley I hear this every day from women I talk with. They’re worn out, they don’t have balance, they are carrying around a backpack of guilt and don’t know how to change it.
