Life is much less stressful when you adapt instead of putting your sword in the sand and holding our ground. What if life has other plans for you that you’re not even aware of yet? This happens regularly whether you realize it or not – if you’re fighting it you’re wondering why your life isn’t working.
Last week I had the opportunity to travel to Brussels, Belgium. It was a short trip, leaving on Sunday and flying back on Saturday. As soon as I say that, you’re already thinking about major jet lag right? But before I left I made the decision that I would adapt quickly to the 8 hour time difference once I landed in Brussels.

You’ve no doubt heard the old adage…”Failing to plan is planning to fail.” It’s true in so many ways and especially when it comes to giving your body the high-grade whole food it needs to function at its best. And it really isn’t as difficult to shift the pattern as you may think.
One of my clients shared something with me last week that impressed me so much I told my nine year old niece about it this weekend. My client’s daughter introduces herself to people by saying, “Hi I’m Samantha and I’m awesome!” (Not her real name.) She’s not cocky about it, she just owns it.
